Publication Guidelines and Policies

First: Journal Definition

The journal is a peer-reviewed semi-annual scientific journal issued by the Research and Consultation Center. It aims to publish original scientific research in various fields of applied sciences in both Arabic and English. The journal also seeks to promote scientific research and support researchers from inside and outside Libya.

Second: Journal Objectives

  • Publishing research that contributes to the development of knowledge in the fields of applied sciences.
  • Encouraging researchers to adhere to research ethics.
  • Supporting open access to knowledge.

Third: Publication Policy

The journal adopts the principle of full Open Access without charging publication fees.

Research Originality and Seriousness:

Research must demonstrate originality and innovation while adhering to scientific methodology and objectivity. The journal prohibits all forms of plagiarism or scientific misconduct. Submitted papers are checked using Turnitin.

Any paper exceeding the allowed similarity percentage will be rejected. Papers with a similarity rate above 20%, excluding references and fixed technical terms, are not accepted. Authors are also required to disclose any conflicts of interest.

Fourth: Research Acceptance Criteria

  1. The research must be original and unpublished, and references should preferably not exceed ten years in age.

Researchers are encouraged to use recent and relevant references and avoid unnecessary outdated sources, except for historical or classical references in the humanities.

  1. The methodology must be clear, the analysis should be of high quality, the article must match the journal’s scope and specialization, and authors must follow the research preparation guidelines.

Fifth: Research Structure

The research should include the following sections:

  • Introduction
  • Research problem
  • Research significance
  • Research objectives
  • Research questions
  • Hypotheses
  • Research methodology
  • Research limitations
  • Review of previous studies

Authors must ensure accurate citation and referencing according to approved academic standards. The manuscript should also be free from linguistic, grammatical, spelling, and typographical errors.

Sixth: Research Submission Procedures

Research papers should be submitted through the journal’s website or the official journal email, with a phone number including the country code (available on WhatsApp). The submission process includes:

  1. Submitting the paper through the journal’s electronic system or via email:

  2. Confirming compliance with formatting requirements.
  3. Subjecting the paper to a double-blind peer review process.
  4. The review process usually takes between 3–6 weeks, and the author will be informed of the editorial decision along with reviewers’ reports.
  5. Receiving the final decision of acceptance, rejection, or required revisions.

Seventh: Previous Publication

The submitted research must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere in any language.

Eighth: Accepted Publication Languages

The journal accepts research papers written in Arabic and English.

Ninth: Academic Integrity

Authors must adhere to academic integrity and use recognized research methodologies and tools within their specialization.

Tenth: Research Length

The paper must not exceed 10 pages (A4 size), including appendices, tables, and references.

Eleventh: Research Abstract

The abstract must not exceed 250 words and should include keywords.

Twelfth: Referencing Style

The journal follows the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing system for citations and footnote numbering.

Thirteenth: Font Specifications for Arabic and English

  • Arabic text: Font size 12, Arial font.
  • English text: Font size 10, Times New Roman font.

Fourteenth: Author Information

The manuscript should include the author’s name, academic title, research title, abstract, and keywords in both Arabic and English.

The academic affiliation should include:

  • Department name
  • Faculty name
  • University name
  • City name
  • Country name

Fifteenth: Publication Declarations

Submitting a paper to the journal is considered a declaration of compliance with all publication requirements and confirmation that the author owns the intellectual property rights of the research.

Sixteenth: Withdrawal of Research

The paper will be withdrawn if plagiarism or a major error is proven.

Seventeenth: Complaints Handling

Complaints may be submitted through the journal’s official email.

The editorial board is committed to responding within a period not exceeding 14 days.
