Author Self-Archiving Policy

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Policy Objective:
The journal encourages open access to knowledge and supports self-archiving practices that respect copyright while ensuring responsible scholarly publishing.

Permitted Archiving Stages:
Authors are allowed to archive the following versions on personal or institutional platforms (e.g., Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or university repositories):

  • Preprint: May be archived before submission to the journal, provided it is clearly indicated as not peer-reviewed.

  • Postprint (Accepted Version): May be archived after the manuscript is formally accepted, provided the journal is cited and it is labeled as the “Accepted Version”.

  • Publisher’s Version: May be archived 6 months after official publication, including a permanent link (DOI) to the published article on the journal website.

Archiving Conditions:
Any archived version must clearly include:

  • Article title

  • Author names

  • Publication date

  • Journal name

  • Link to the original article (if available)

Modifying or editing the published version is not permitted without the journal’s editorial permission.

Long-Term Digital Archiving Policy:
The Journal of Sustainable Research in Applied Sciences is committed to ensuring sustainable and permanent access to all published materials. To this end, the journal uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which securely and freely preserves articles and bibliographic metadata.

Archiving is automatically enabled via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which stores article copies in multiple digital repositories to ensure long-term access, even in the event of website failure or technical issues.
